I wasn’t just overweight — I was carrying the weight of depression, trauma, and years of silence.
Food was my comfort. Computers were my escape. And deep down, I didn’t believe I’d ever change.But in 2000, I set a goal to lose 100 pounds. That goal turned into 220.
No surgery. No shortcuts. Just faith, discipline, and a quiet fire in my soul that said, “This isn’t how your story ends.”That journey didn’t just change my body — it changed how I saw myself.
And it was only the beginning of what God had in store...

For most of my life, I hid my back. I had one of the most severe cases of kyphosis my surgeon had ever seen.
I was in pain — physically and emotionally — and didn’t think anyone understood what I was carrying.In 2005, I went through a 14-hour spinal fusion surgery that required collapsing one lung, flipping me mid-surgery, and installing titanium rods up my spine.The pain was intense. The recovery took everything I had. But God carried me.That experience — and the miracles that happened during it — became a defining part of my testimony.It taught me how to walk by faith. Literally.
